“Breathing Under Water” CD
"Jean Mazzei’s album is a testament to singer-songwriters who don’t need to stay stuck in the mold of indie, acoustic folk songs. She has taken relatively sensitive songs to a new place..."

Flying Venus can be found gigging around the greater Bay Area. They've played at places like LA's Johnny Foxx's, the Blue Cafe in Long Beach, Anderson's 5th Estate in Phoenix and San Fran's world famous Boom Boom Room.
They had their "Faace of a Nation" CD release party on October 12, 2006, at The LIttle Fox Theater with Groovy Judy, and Katie Garabaldi. As well as selling cds, and performing for a packed house, they helped raise money for Guitars Not Guns, a national charity that gives guitars lessons to at risk children.
FV has also rocked Penngrove's The Black Cat, Broadway Studios, Studio Z, Red Devil, The Cherry Bar, Pine Street Bar and Grill, Beale Street Bar and Grill, Hotel Utah, Irelands 32, The Canvas Gallery, Bazaar Cafe as well as outdoor festivals such as "People in Plazas" and "Relay for Life" which raises money for cancer each year. They also donate their time playing at the Leland House - an AIDS patient live-in facility.
