- Green Beat Acoustic Songwriters Showcase
- The Green Beat Acoustic Songwriter Showcase.
Now you can see SF’s most passionate singer/songwriters break from their glamorous full band appearances, and unveil their hearts and souls at an intimate “round robin” gathering.
Once we receive your 60-word bio, reciprocal link, and CD (or WAV files of two of your songs), we will finalize your booking for the show we discussed!
Take Your Career Further With Sponsorships And High-Paying College Gigs In the near future, we will be inviting a handful of artists to join forces under the Green Beat Music umbrella, and benefit from our group power. For example, you’ve probably been to concerts that were “sponsored” by big companies. These companies support the artists with money or free advertising.
If you play in front of 200 people per month, it might not be worthwhile for a company to sponsor you. You’re not big enough yet. But under the Green Beat Music umbrella, you and nine others at your level can offer a sponsor exposure to 2000 people per month. Obviously, this is much more attractive.
Would you like to earn $1,000 - $5,000 per show, playing at colleges and universities?
That kind of pay is typical. The easiest way to meet college talent buyers is to become a member of NACA (National Association Of Campus Activities www.naca.org. Then you can attend regional conferences, set up a vendor booth, and even perform on stage before hundreds of talent buyers.
However, the cost of access is high. NACA membership is $600 per year. And the price of a vendor booth at any of their regional conferences is about $400 per conference.
At a recent conference, we met a group called the “New York Musician’s Collective”. Six artists split the cost of a NACA membership, the cost of pressing a compilation CD, and the cost of traveling to the conference. When any of them gets booked, they recommend fellow collective members to the talent buyer as well.
We love this model, and plan to do the same. Together under the Green Beat Music umbrella, we can split these costs – allowing each of us to access these college talent buyers, but for a fraction of the cost.
Participation in our show is the first step in getting to know you. If we’re impressed with your talent, and the effort you put into promoting our show, we may invite you under our umbrella – for the purpose of sponsorships, NACA membership, and more. - GoGirls.com
